Acrylic paint on 36”x36” canvas

This work was a commission done for a client who wished to compliment her new home’s wine room with hand-crafted decorative art. Because she sought the subject of the painting to be a classic cocktail, I chose an old fashion. The cocktail itself is comprised of an analogous, orange-based color scheme which can be found juxtaposing the aqua-marine shade I chose for the underpainting. The background was rendered as monochromatic to place further emphasis on the vibrant colors of the piece.

In the years 2018, 2019, and 2021, I was invited to paint my hometown’s city hall for Christmas. In each rendition, I was given a theme and from that, I attempted to fill the window gallery with a charming and magical Christmas scene.

Clay / Wire / Welded metal

Three-dimensional illusion-based sculpture to commemorate my great grandfather’s immigration from Italy to the United States. The work was done by sculpting self-hardening clay onto an array of secured wires to construct the form of my grandfather.
